It stars Keanu Reeves. It didn't have very good reviews, but I liked it.

How about High And The Mighty theme? Thats got to be a classic. Also the song from High Noon, both written by Dimitri Tiompkin.

Ive got both the popular versions of High Noon, Tex Ritter and Frankie Laine. Never get tired of hearing it. Frankie Laine, he was another one who did great movie themes. The Hanging Tree, Rawhide, altho that was a TV show. Another great theme was Jose Feliciano's Old Turkey Buzzard from McKenna's Gold.

And we cant forget Gene Pitney's Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and Town Without Pity.

Probably because it was ahead of its time about a rape trial, plus the song.

I've heard Town Without Pity and I liked it a lot. I didn't know it was made for a movie! I should see it!

The movie was quite good. It starred Kirk Douglas and was about soldiers accused of raping a German girl. I dont remember much about it, its been years since I saw it.

Another one I like is Warsaw Concerto from a movie called Suicide Squadron. Its about a concert pianist who joins the Polish air force to fight the Nazis. And who can forget Stella By Starlight from The Uninvited?

Pirates of the Caribbean is definitely one of the top five for movies. I love Wicked and Les Miserables and Fame too.

Mancini was a legend for sure. Baby Elephant Walk and the theme from Lifeforce were awesome, too. I once heard a radio broadcast of Mancini conducting the Utah Symphony and the opening piece was the super-cool Lifeforce theme. I didnt know he was dead. He will be missed.
