My taste in music

i'm new to this site, and just bought i'd put in my 2 cents about music, I've listened to everything and anything , got over 4,000 songs on my iTunes and still downloading more, anything from 1920's - Present day , Started with Heavy Metal back in the 80's , then got into pop, rock, reggae, rap, hip hop, goth, country, ..... ect.....

under yahoo, type 20's & 30's music , there's a lot of bands that are amazing, mostly Jazz, and waltz music... but still a lot of good ones

Yeah, that's all stuff I already know....I grew up with a lot of it. Got anything a little more obscure? I really like Billy Murray, Ada Jones, Django, Jelly Roll, Uncle Dave Macon, Skip James, Frank Stokes...

Ive got a lot of those old songs Bix Beiderbecke, Eddie Lang, Eddie Condon, New Orleans Rhythm Kings, Original Dixieland Jass Band all kinds of blues, jazz, rockabilly, 50's and 60's rock and country. Bob Wills, Eddie Dean, Light Crust Doughboys, all kinds of obscure forgotton stuff. I bought a CD the other day by Spade Cooley. Havent heard him in years.

I usually goto wikipedia, and type a bands name , and it give me an entire biography of that band, i have over 150 bands wikipedia bookmarked, all genres of music, i love to research everything that interests me

Light Crust Doughboys? Spade Cooley? Sounds like just the stuff I've been looking for!

Spade Cooley....my gaawwd....I can't decide if that name's horrible or brilliant.

i downloaded 500 songs from my iTunes to my cell phone ..... so every morning when i go for a walk, I can listen to the Cure songs ( which is my favorite band).... my other faces include poison, beethoven, benny goodman, miles davis, britney spears, Whitney Houston (R.I.P.)....

Spade Cooley did western swing. His biggest hit was Shame On You. He wrote that song Blackland Farmer that was popular in the 60's when he was in prison.

i love hip hop, house, pop - latin and spas . I listen to hip hop when i need to concentrate on my work
