My favorite type of music is rap music. I agree, pop these days aren't about anything but I also don't believe in music shaming. I don't like rock. Alternative & indie music is okay. I also occasionally listen to jazz, classic, and country.

I think my favorite type is pop, I just love how fun it usually is and most current popular songs are pop so I tend to hear them more.

Pop (because it's inescapable and rather catchy), classic rock (Queen and Aerosmith mostly), rap when I'm in the mood, and classical if I'm doing something important and need to concentrate (like writing a paper).

I have two favorite types of music: classical (especially modern classical piano) and pop (especially 80's pop). In my opinion there is no people in this world to not love classical music.

It varies for me, I generally tend to sway towards rock of all forms. But sometimes when I need to relax I listen to classical. I al so enjoy blues, jazz, swing. Really anything except for rap.
