If you're in a bad mood and want to dance...

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

And you like punk music (this is a must) listen to:
Red Hot Moon by Rancid

One of my all time favorite songs and fun to listen to while cooking, dancing around the kitchen!

I'll definitely be playing this! Also, having Lizzo on repeat is definitely a great motivator; just makes me want to dance everywhere.

Music is the most unique way of expressing yourself and every person takes the lyrics of songs is his own way. That line really touched me because you fake it till you make it and sometimes you fake a person that you think you want to be, but then reality wakes you up

I'll go ahead and check that out. When I need something to dance to I normally have Toy by Netta, Feeling Myself by Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, 24k by Bruno Mars and Worth It by Fifth Harmony on repeat, then happily proceed with embarrassing myself.

Well, I'd always choose NF realmusic whenever I'm in a sad mood. Guy's song is a therapy for me!

I just run through the tips, they were great! There were few I wanted to mention too. But here a few others: hot stuff by Donna Summer, She bangs by Ricky Martin, Non non rien change (foxtrot 43 Bpm). Dont be afraid of the last one, its bit kind of a rock and roll (jive) style music, for dancing it its the best, at least for me.

If I'm in a bad mood, some Godsmack and Rob Zombie songs come to mind - a friend told me I might like them and, at times, they certainly fit the bill!
