Grenade
Grenade, grenade, grenade,
what fun to have a grenade,
toss it in the jungle,
make banana splits,
toss it in the water,
maybe catch some fish,
give one to the colonel,
turn his mind around,
give one to your sergeant,
blow him out of town,
toss one under tankers,
keep them on their toes,
throw one at ole’ charlie,
keep him in his holes,
tie one on a buffalo,
see how far he walks,
wire one to the enemy,
and then watch him talk,
put one in your pocket,
put one in your pack,
catch it on a button,
and that’s the end of your act.
