Who would you write a poem, a song or a lyric for?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

I would write a poem to my dad. He past away during the pandemic, and I missed him so much. Writing him a poetry will be an excellent way for me to reminisce our memories together

If I would write a poem, song or a lyric, I would write it for my parents. Their unconditional love is more than anything, starting when I was a baby until today. As a person not so expressive, I would inspire all the love I have for my parents through poem, song, or a lyric.

Because poetry, music, and lyric are used to express unsaid emotions, I decided to dedicate it to someone I wished for dearly - my parents. I'm scared there will come a moment when I won't be able to tell them how much I hated it when they left me, how much I craved their hugs, and how much I adore them just for bringing me into this world.

I would write something, probably a song or a poem for all these five. I am the type who just does that because I feel they are very important to me and I would be able to convey my feelings to them even when I am scared to do so, so why not.

I love writing and spend a good amount of my job writing to give a voice to those who don't have one, so there's that. But I also love writing for my friends and family !

The only in my life that truly deserve a poem of lyric from me are my mother and sister.

My second son. I got pregnant when I did not expect, I wasn't able to find any man in mind I could held responsibly because I hadn't have intercouse with any man for 2 years. I became sad, and very worried. I was wishing to have my child but I had no accommodation by then. My only option was abortion, but since I couldn't realize my pregnancy on time, I was already 5 months and some weeks. My second option adoption. We are together against all odds. And I realized no matter what we go through our only victory is being together. And the song title is " you and I.

I will write everyday about God because I couldn't win my battles without him. HE is my everything. My love, my protector, my healer, my provider, father, my teacher, my strength, my joy, my God.

I like the idea of writing things to everyone, whether it is for a significant person in my life, or if its just a random person who made a big impression through a random day or action.
