Well, you may create a piece for all of these five. It depends on how you absorb these categories. It shouldn't be only God for those people who are so religious. Only for parents who knows their parents. But if this question is for school or a program, better create a piece for yourself. Discuss or write what were your experiences, and then what did you learn from that experience. What will be your plan in the future.

To be honest I would write a poem for all of the above and I have done so for all except for god, and children. I am in a book club so I must write poems of all genres regardless of religion. I would suggest that you write most of the poems/lyrics for yourself and make them personal to you. You can write whatever you please about whatever you please, just follow your heart.

Such an amazing question. I guess I would write for them all. To God for some spiritual guidance, to parents a grateful ode, for my husband a poem with all my love, and for my children, as much guidance as possible

To all the above,,, but I love myself more... I must first write myself one then continue to the others... You can't give what you don't have.

I have done all except for children. I especially love writing for my siblings, God, and myself. My poetry journal in a way is also my prayer journal. All my worries, hopes, and requests go into my thinning bound book. This makes my book of poems VERY valuable to me!

I'd write one to God and my parents. Just to appreciate them for whoever I've grown up to be.

I would say my boyfriend/girlfriend because I find myself most inspired, creatively, by romantic relationships in my life. It's what makes me write the most and it's the easiest thing for me to sing about.

If I ever penned down a poem, a song or a lyric, it would be for the people who genuinely love me, and also the people who have made a positive impact on me. It can be parents, lovers, spouses, friends, and even teachers.

This is very interesting. I will write a lyrics, song and poem about my previous relationship. I will have the opportunity to express how I felt from the beginning to the end and after the breakup.

My grandmother. I love her so much; maybe the message of my piece is to say sorry for her for everything that I’ve done.

I would write a poem dedicated to my parents to express how all their hardwork haven't gone unseen and that I appreciate all they have done for me.
