Songwriting

Post by Hunter Tester »

Does anyone on here do much songwriting? I’m a musician, and songwriting is something I have wanted to be able to do. I have had many ideas and pieces of songs in the past, but it’s hard to put together complete songs to me.

I can write songs but i get so irritated and leave them halfway done when i realize i don't have a singing voice. Its fun writing songs but i dont have anywhere to take them.

I see. I guess that’s why a lot of songwriters write their music for other artists to use. I have a lot of unfinished ideas as well.

Songwriting is the most crucial stage in making music. It's a big deal.

I am not a pro, but I always attempted to. I don’t know; it gave me the chills and made me more proud of myself. Every time I do songwriting, it’s a cloud 9.

Maybe if I can get back into it I can experience this feeling.

Songs and poems are used to pen ones feelings as for me the correct rhythm is the problem...still not giving up.

Songwriting is also a great passion of mine. I write songs before about friendship and get a jam with my friends associating the songs I’ve done. They will always tell me to make an official song about it, but I’m really hesitating.
