A trickle of rain falling...
Silence ensues and encases the day's debates
A glass against a glass, a trickle of sweat wiped away
A passing glance of spiteful scorn
An empty chair where hearts were torn
A trickle of rain falling...
A radio plays for a shuffling pair
A hand to her waist and a smell of her hair
A heartwarming kiss is a token to pass
To a place in her heart that is finer than sand
A trickle of rain falling...
An element moist, with mass, bringing life , bringing grass
A sprinkle, a pour, relief from the heat, or a chill to the core
A trickle of rain falling, falls where it may
Upon who and which manner, is up to each person to say.
