Syllabic, accentual-syllabic or free verse?

I love poetry written in iambic pentameter (and I also love writing it) but free verse offers the writer more freedom to experiment beyond merely the substitution of one foot with another for effect. Syllabic poetry is nice, but I don't read very much of it. Which do you prefer?
