But it should be a slow soothing music of a low volume and perfect instrumentals. A loud music will otherwise disorient you.

Classic music is great, as is ambient. I spent 90 minutes writing yesterday, all to some pounding techno. It really helped me through. With classical, sometimes I relax overly and am too soothed. That electronic stuff sorted me out!
