What are some of your favorite poets/poetry books?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Ocean Vuong, Richard Siken, Mary Oliver and many others. I especially like Vuong's "Thanksgiving 2006" because the line "My mother said I could be anything I wanted - but I chose to live" has never left my mind since I've read it.

I personally enjoy reading the works of various poets, including William Shakespeare, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, W.B. Yeats, and Walt Whitman. These classic poets have made significant contributions to the literary world and their works continue to be widely read and appreciated.
