I wouldn't personally read Shakespeare by myself but when we were forced to do it in English class I enjoyed it.

I do! I was introduced to Shakespeare in school. My favourite work of Shakespeare is Hamlet.

I've always tried reading Shakespeare's work, but I often give up. I find it difficult Elizabethan English used in the texts. I wish I could come across versions that used Modern English.

Shakespeare is the Bard of Avon, and he prompted me to appreciate poetry in general. I would always create and formulate poems when bored, and one thing that I looked up to was William. His creations are indeed masterpieces worth reliving.

I can't sit down and read Shakespeare. I don't understand Shakespeare's language. If I have to teach any Shakespearian books, I scout for a concise summary and use to teach

I don't know what I would have done without Shakespeare and his books. The flow of words and the high sense of creativity he adopts in his plays or books are all I could ever ask for.

I love Shakespeare! I had to read Romeo and Juliet for my ninth grade English class. Then in high school, I took three Shakespeare elective classes that I really enjoyed. We read many of his plays and learned how to speak in iambic pentameter. I took an acting class in college, and we had to perform some scenes from his plays as part of the curriculum. As a teacher, a Shakespeare company would visit the school once a year to put on a condensed version of a play. The actors would also visit the classrooms to teach the students about Shakespeare, the language, and give information about the day's performance. My son is an actor, and he performed some of Shakespeare's plays in college. He also worked for the Kingsmen Shakespeare Company for a couple of years and performed in four more of his plays. I look forward to seeing more in the future.

I tried once at night to read it, English is not my mother language, so after a few pages I realize that if I want to understand something from Shakespeare I need to be rested and in the right mood.

I love Shakespeare. He is on the top list poets that I love. His books and style of writing or his ability to entertain through play write has struck both my imagination.

I like reading Shakespeare. He is one of my favourite classical playwrights. But I think Christophe Marlowe was equally talented though not as popular.

Read most of his works and whatever the audiences may say as of now- he was phenomenal at his time. The works he produced were mesmerizing, to say the least!
