This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Well, I tend to like the Star Wars themes. They are full of energy and just kick butt! My husband, being the trucker that he is, likes both "Eastbound and Down" (Smokey and the Bandit) and "Convoy."

I love the theme song of "Pirates Of The Caribbean". It makes me feel very enthusiastic and alive. Is anyone out there who likes that theme song too? :eusa-think:

One of my favorites is the theme from The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. Different and unusual even in this day and age.

In the original series, when Klaus pretends that he has lost his daughter hope, and Ingrid michaelson's song open hands start playing, I feel it really captures the mood in that episode. It even brought tears in my eyes

Two of my favorites are "My Heart Will Go On" from The Titanic and also the song "One Step Closer" from the Twilight series. Also, I used to enjoy playing the theme from Love Story on the piano.

A top favorite of mine is one I heard not long ago. Tell Me Once Again by Julianna Schano from the movie Gamera 3 Revenge Of Iris. Its sung in Japanese but it dosent really matter, its still a great song even if you dont understand the lyrics.

Speaking of African themes, another good one is the drums and chants from the beginning of the old Clark Gable flick Mogambo.
