Lost in the labyrinth of my mind,
A fragile heart lays broken and blind.
How can I give love to another when I am drowning in tears of sorrow and anxiety?
How can I mend another’s wounds when I am struggling to face my fears?

My identity feels shrouded in the shadows of doubt and despair,
A journey through darkness I try to find a way out.
Through the depths of solitude, I search for the truth,
All while yearning for love from another and myself.

In the realm of relationships, I stand alone,
Questioning if my heart is made of stone or shattered glass.
Adulthood weighs heavily on my fragile shoulders,
As I struggle to find self-appreciation within the boulders of my heart.

The canvas of life painted with care,
Leaves brush strokes of emotion lingering in the air.
Conflicted by the insecurities I am battling within,
Longing for connection with someone but feeling scared to begin.

A dance of contradictions begins as a symphony of sighs plays,
I yearn for acceptance beneath the color-filled skies.
As butterflies flutter in my restless soul
Whispering secrets in hopes of making me feel whole again.

Within the pages of books, I seek solace and grace.
All while exploring the world but still yearning for space.
Heartbreak lingers like a shadow in the night,
Yet hope still flickers like a guiding light
Towards self-love and acceptance first
Before leading me to be able to love and be loved by another by heart.
