She is profile
fashioned from a nocturne form
housed in oblique memory.

The flipped coin lands on edge.

A scent wafts gently
bringing to mind a specific
place time location date
people persons
a person individually craved.

Flip a coin; the hunger grows
desiring the unbraiding of helixical coil
to capture the single genome
that only breathes for her,
that unique moment of
unravelled flapping time:
whipsaw.

The coin lands on edge
and rolls along the grey.
