Looking for a Heartfelt Poetry Book Recommendation!

Post by Alexa Flair »

Hi everyone,
I’m searching for a poetry book that deeply touches the heart and stays with you even after reading. I love poems that talk about life, emotions, love, and dreams in a beautiful way.

If you have any favorites that you personally enjoyed or found inspiring, please share!
I would really appreciate your suggestions. 😊📚

Thanks in advance for helping me find my next favorite poetry book!

One of the poetry books I have read that stays with me is called "Empty Bottles Full of Stories" by Robert M Drake and r.h. Sin. This book talks about love, loss and strength to move forward and heal.

Poetry 180 by Billy Collins really got me started writing poetry, so inspiration can be found there.

Hello Alexa. Have you read any of rupi kaur. There is 'home body,' 'milk and honey,' "the sun and her flowers. Some are illustrated.
You can never go wrong with Rumi.
I have a slim volume 'On Hundred and One Famous Poems." My daughter snaffoed it, so I got another. (She is forgiven as she turned me on to rupi.) Have fun discovering new poets, Mary.

I just read a whimsical poetry book about finding employment. It is laden with humor but there are inspiring poems in there. Try reading "THE ART OF JOBHUNTING: A DRAMEDY IN VERSE by ANASTASIA HELENA FENALD.
