OLD LOVE

An old man told me
Aint no love like old love
young love is all energy
Middle age love is puffed up love
the body fading away by time
But old love is real love.
Most of the leaves have left the tree
leaving the remains of what a life of living does
Wisdom now sits in the hips
Fewer words of foolishness
get pass these lips
Old love rocks in the remains of the remains
