J.cole or kendrick lamar, who is your best?

This is the place for readers of poetry. Discuss poetry and literary art. You can also discuss music here, including lyrics. Also, you can discuss poets themselves, in addition to poetry.

Honestly I just know J Cole by name. I have never got deep into listening his rap. That's why I'm going to be with Kendrick Lamar as have tasted his rap beats.

Totally. Kendrick Lamar. He can go to crazy lengths and his form of Hip-hop is identical to no other.

These two rap about different aspects of lives. It's hard to compare them though J Cole is my favorite.

I chose J.Cole, just because I listen to his music more than Kendrick Lamar. His song, She Knows is in my daily playlist since it came out.

Adura7 wrote: 01 May 2018, 18:07 Well for me j.cole is the best among the both, because of his story telling abilities and also the poetic justice he brings along with his music. Kendrick is up there too, but he is more technical than the section 80 kendrick that i would have preferred over cole.. Well they both good, so give your ideas
J cole is good. He is so good that I have fallen in love with him. I love him to the moon and back over J=Kendrick any day.

For me both guys are doing excellently well, base on their lyrics and style, though Kendrick is globally recognized as the best, I say "Recognize who the best recognized". Kendrick's early career was influenced by dudes like J.cole who produced some of Kendrick's upcoming songs.
