Music I enjoy releases dopamine in my brain which enhances my mood and abilities. Happy tunes literally make me happier and more engaged in my work.

However, finding the right genre and volume is crucial - too loud or chaotic music can really backfire quickly.

But when I find a soundtrack that clicks, I get into a zone where my performance and efficiency see noticeable improvements compared to working in silence.

The key for me is finding music that enhances my mood and motivation levels optimally. That way, it puts me in a productive mood.

I truly believe in the power of music. As a musician, I had a program for Alzheimer patients. We went to the nursing home and played music that the patients would have liked when they were about 30 years old. We could see big changes in them. They were in their own world at the beginning of the session, isolated and scared, but at the end of the session they were dancing and singing, being part of a group, and feeling happy to belong to it. We were all mesmerized by the way music had changed them and happy to have been able to help them to get some joy. I think we were also changed by the experience. I like the phrase "Music cure things that Medicine can't".

Music always has and always will help me in everyway as a book does to me. Music has the tendency to make me feel loved, not lonely and more confident in everyway.
