Who is the Best?

There is a new book out on Amazon called "Influencing Destiny: poetry and prose" that is really terrific by a poet named Christopher Brown. I'll post one of the poems. I'm curious what people think as far as who is the best modern poet?

Train Station

Life is a powerful locomotive thriving nation to nation.
All well-intentioned people grow up at the local train station—
Each one preparing, watching, and avoiding temptation.

Opportunity waits for those who are ready, primed at the gate.
The slothful and careless all conductors hate!

An unexpected horn brings shrills of excitement;
It is the few that are ready that enjoy the sound’s indictment.
Several fools start laughing as they dance along the track;
The engine moving quickly runs them over fl at!
Other fools are lazy, heading down too late;
Their hearts look on heavily as the train leaves the gate.

The ticket holders, all on board, depart awfully high:
The moment they had worked for would take them to the sky.
The rest of the crowd is left sitting or simply standing nigh;
Some are clueless, some know, at the train station they’d die.
