What was your favorite moment of Ruby's reacting to Reed and Brent?

I loved the diving board scene. It informed so much about Ruby's character. She is bold, brave, talented, competitive, and takes no bull.

It was a great scene indeed and I loved it as well. I also liked the scene where she first saw them in the store.

Most girls would be annoyed / angry / hurt / shocked when they hear the rules of "Tap It' game but Ruby decided she wanted to play. I think that showed her character and personality than anything else.

I agree with u. I would have reacted completely different to the "Tap It" game. I don't think I could have ever married someone that played a game like that, if I knew.

Ruby decides to play, but on her own terms to get revenge for all the women that were unknowing victims of the game. I really like her for that. I also respect her ability to smell a rat.

I liked the moment when she first met them both in the store. However, I probably wouldn't have reacted the way she did to the Tap It game. It just seems so hurtful and childish.

One thing I have learnt and Ruby did as well is that playing around with love hurts!

My favorite moment was when Anna and Sandy went into Ruby's hospital room after the accident, and Anna healed her. I don't normally like supernatural elements in books, but the supernatural passages were done well here.

I think that was Ruby's excuse. I think she liked getting the romantic attention from two boys. It was also an ego boost that Reed was after her even when he was out on dates with Tammy. I felt bad for Tammy since she could tell that Reed liked Ruby.

I liked the part where she dreamt about her daughter for the first time.

Ruby was leaving work and Reed was waiting for her in the parking lot. Their first kiss still gets me heated.

I would say the in-between place with her grandma and child. I liked that it was a warm, loving place and it wasn't a fearful place. Her child seems very sweet

As far as Ruby's character development goes, I agree this stuck out most to me.

This was also my favorite moment. It was such an emotional moment in the book for myself as the reader. The sweetness, wonder and happiness of her meeting her grandmother and daughter, then the sadness of realizing the daughter had died in the crash. I read that part of the book several times and each time I experienced the rush of all those emotions.

I think at the end, in the store, when Reed and Brent seem a little lost but figure something is going on - someone or something thinks there's something funny about seeming one step ahead of men who are supposed to have it all - keeps them on their toes and the look on their faces is probably priceless.

This was my favorite part as well. It was a really moving passage in the book for me as the reader. After visiting her grandma and daughter, she was overcome with joy and sweetness before learning that the daughter had perished in the collision. I reread that section of the book multiple times and felt the same surge of feelings each time.
