Religious aspects of the book

I was just wondering what everyone thought about the religious aspects of the story that were mainly seen through Cody's perspective.

Religious aspects were good, but I tend to ignore such controversial topics. I merely looked through the first few chapters, and didn't really like it, unless its a christianity or faith book, I wouldn't personally recommend a book filled with such teachings, seemed inappropriate for the genre of it.

I liked the religious scenes. I think someone who doesn't believe in God might have a tougher time in believing that God can heal and help in the way that He does.

Were you thinking of any scene in particular?

I enjoyed the religious aspects of the book. Our present world is growing more secular (at least in Western countries, anyway), but there are still a large number of spiritual people in the world, and one could assume that there were even more during the time in which the novel is written. I think that including the religious aspects gave the novel a certain depth that it would have otherwise lacked. I don't like romance novels in general, but I really enjoyed this one, and the inclusion of God and miracles really helped.
