(Note, Carrie Rubin's previous book The Seneca Scourge was book of the month in December 2012. :) )

I found Jeremy to be the only likeable character here, and the most relatable. Connie was nice, but she was not as protective of Jeremy as she should of been. Sue was a bit annoying to me and I didn’t like that her job came before her family. The grandfather wasn’t likeable at all considering he did nothing but bully Jeremy. Of course I didn’t like Darwin. That just leaves Jeremy.

I would say Jeremy. I felt so bad for him and his struggles with his weight, the bullies at school, and his grandfather. He felt the most real of all the characters.
