I've just finished reading this book recently and gone through most of the reviews in both Amazon and OBC. I must say, this was an exceptional read for me. I've read countless books regarding WWII, and I find that this book's storyline is unique and intriguing. While much can be said about the experience that the author had since it's based on a true story, this book is well-equipped with various aspects of training, deployment, flying missions, etc.
In my opinion, there's a lot to learn about what role modern history plays in our lives. As the author puts it, "Truth is stranger than fiction. You can't make this stuff up."
