The enthralling journey of a lonely puppy, a curious cat named Carl, and a wayfarer named Jim towards the Smoky Mountains is a captivating adventure. The dystopian setting, spiritual undertones, and deep character development promise a gripping read.

The negative point actually sounds like a positive point to me. But I understand it might be confusing for some readers as it wasn’t listed as dystopian.

I am not a fan for books with lots of Christianity references. Yet, it’s always intriguing to have dystopian elements with fluffy, bubbly petting zoo kind of animals in the same setting. I’d love to read this book too.

The cat, Carl, was selfless. Judging from the not-so-nice relationship between cats and dogs, I'd say that Carl was wonderful to have helped the puppy. I hope they get to the greener pastures the puppy talked about. Nice review.

This dystopian adventure book is symbolically written. The animals as the characters are well portrayed. The given free sample of the book is wonderful to read. The review is also beautifully written. Congrats.

I need to explore this fantasy world that talks about humans getting the mark from the government and being killed if they don't have the mark. In that world of hunger, strife, crimes, and oppression, I'll like to read how these animals survived such a world in the book. Great review.

The concept of talking animals in a book that discusses heavy topics such as violence, pandemics, religious war, and exorcism is uncommon. They are usually used in children's books. Which makes me curious how the author utilized them to deliver his message. However, the exorcism and pandemic topics are not my favorites; if it weren't for them, I would have given this book a chance. Thanks for this great review!

Of the Earth, by Kim Cousins, is book one in the Clashing Kingdoms series. This is a fun dystopian story to read. It is a perfect blend of action, suspense and romance and takes place in the United States as it is under World Government and requires all to have the mark of the best or be killed by the Peacemakers. This story shows the faith, determination, and strength Christians have to survive. It is enjoyable to read how the Christians are there to help each other. I appreciate the Biblical teaching within the story and the humor with the animals talking. This story will make the reader stop and take a look at their faith.

A dystopian fantasy that we can relate to current times sounds good and talking animals are a charmer. It's worth a shot.
But that's the irony, broken people are not fragile.

While going through the sample of the book in Amazon I found the story very interesting and engrossing. The adventure journey of Jim alongwith the animals Carl and the puppy is arousing interest to read the full book.
Thanks for an excellent review.

The book has a compelling plot, but there are a lot of references to current events and issues primarily found in today’s time. However, I will continue reading the book to discover what happens to everyone and see if the ending is as compelling as the beginning. Thank you for your insightful review.

Seriously love how the author makes life through the eyes of animals and gives them human points of views, morals and real life hardships. See how they go through their days and use their spiritual beliefs to deal with the battles of everyday life as we do every single day. Super cute and binge worthy read.
