Getting a PhD may be boring, but it is safe. I guess that Luke is looking for something that is exciting. Being a stunt man is certainly not what I would consider safe. Congratulations on BOTD!

David Done's comic fiction novel is set in the 1960s. It features a college student named Luke who meets a taxi driver that changes his life path. Luke and his friends chase the dream of turning old Kern County buildings into a movie set. I look forward to reading about Luke and finding out if he fulfills his wish of becoming a movie stuntman. Terrific book review!

Lovely cover, but unfortunately, comic books were never my forte, which is ironic in a way, because I greatly enjoy visual arts and the illustration style is quite appealing. Still, prose written in pictures annoys me and I will have to pass this one. Apologies and congratulations on BOTD!

It is good to do what is exciting to you and makes you feel happy. Also, it is good to explore new knowledge just like the main character in this book, Luke. This seems like an interesting story.

Quite a career change for Luke, I am intrigued if he will succeed in taking this new path of becoming a stunt man. Too bad about the editing errors but these can surely be addressed to give the book five stars in a next review round.

I'm wary of changes. That's why it takes me too much deliberation to make one, which I don't find helpful most times. So I think Luke will teach me how to make moment changes with the way he changed his career after a cab ride.

The book seems interesting. Unfortunately there are not that many "blessed ones" who are satisfied and happy with the jobs they have, many people realise that what they do is not something they really want to do and decide to change their profession. I hope Luke will succeed in his "new career" and achieves his American Dream. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Gone Bodfishin' by David Done is a comic novel portraying the lives of a group of people trying to live the American Dream. Luke, a student and part-time employee at a tax firm, meets Al, a cab driver planning to build a movie set. Luke decides to drop out of college and help Al with his project. It's an interesting book, and I'm sure many will enjoy it. Congratulations on the BOTD!

Luke seems like an intriguing protagonist - a disillusioned everyman looking for meaning who gets drawn into an unpredictable misadventure. His character arc could lead to some thoughtful commentary.

This review is a bit confusing. I find that it doesn't inspire me to want to read the comic book.

The protagonist of this novel, Luke, just up and moves to a faraway village to pursue his ambitions after deciding one day that his life is dull and he has to do something fascinating. Will he succeed? Will he achieve the dream of America? Or will he utterly fail? To learn more, continue reading.

It's a quick read with a guy who enjoys taking chances, adventure, intrigue, and romance set in the 1960s. Did I mention that the sequence with the treasure quest is interesting? Adventure and mystery lovers will adore this novel.

Luke's experience is something most youth feels these days. Youths are usually stuck between living the conventional life or pursuing their dream. This book will surely be a great read. Thank you so much for the review.

Although I am not particularly fond of comic books, I believe that there is a specific audience that will thoroughly enjoy this story. It may not be my preferred genre, but I acknowledge that it has its own unique appeal and merits.
