I used to have coloring books when I was a child and for this book to have images where we can put colors is a very interesting concept, drawing our creativity. I comment the author for coming up with this book for adults and yet brings back memories of our childhood.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. It is clear this book brought you much joy. I appreciate learning about the author's writing style for this book and am looking forward to checking out the illustrations you described. Now that I know they are colorless, I may opt for the printed version to immerse myself fully into the experience.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because Graphic Novels and Comics never appealed to my tastes, no matter how great their story sounds in the description. No offense, I will have to skip this book, but would like to congratulate the author, anyway!

Thank you for your detailed review of Nancy L. Vallette's 'Field Guide to the Figments of Persuasion' which is a fascinating exploration of the psychological and emotional triggers that drive human behavior. As the reader reads this book, their imagination will be expanded, and they will be reminded of their childhood fantasies as they are given a whimsical explanation of the feelings that adults experience. The fact that if you have a hard copy of this book you can color the pages is another plus that intrigues me about this book. I have put it on my shelf to read and look forward to reminiscing some of my childhood days. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

'Official Review: Field Guide to the Figments of Persuasion' by Nancy L. Vallette presents the core idea of the comic book for readers. We feel curious to learn more about the book after reading the review. Readers will be reminded of their childhood fantasies as they are given a whimsical explanation of the feelings that adults experience. The words in the book stimulate the reader's creativity. Also, as mentioned in the review, the author incorporates emotions into the material presented in this book. Learning that there are several colorless drawings in the book for our entertainment was great!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book so much. I usually don't care for graphic books, but I am a true believer in imagination and childhood. Children can see so much more and in general, are so much happier than adults. After sampling the book and reading your review, I believe I will add it to my list of books to read.

The book seems to be about rediscovering the creative and imaginative side that people have as children.  It appears to address concerns about being desensitized as a result of the complexities of adulthood.
