Banana Fish!

Post by rubinelli »

The Banana Fish anime adaptation finished quite a while ago and I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did! I picked it up on a whim and was hooked from the very first episode. The mystery surrounding Banana Fish and Griffin Callenreese pulled me in and I fell in love with little cinnamon-roll Eiji. And I just have to say that the soundtrack SLAPS!

Tell me what you thought of the show! Who was your favorite character? Which villain was the most despicable? Is the music fire? Or is it just not for you? Were you as shocked by the ending as I was?!

Yes! The OPs and ED for this anime is awesome. I love the manga and the anime version. About villains, hmm I'm not sure if I ever liked any 😂 But I love Ash's leadership and Eiji's devotion.

I've read the manga before the anime so I wasn't shocked by the ending. 🙈

My most favorite character was Ash because of his determination and his rank. the villians were kind of the same. The music WAS fire. It had some good beats. I wasn't shocked at the ending because it was kind of an easy guess.
