Icon Archie Comics VS TV Show Riverdale

Post by priscillawinslow13 »

:eusa-think: The Archie comics are funny and crazy. They are full of fun adventures and a little bit of romance. The TV show Riverdale is dark, romantic, and mysterious, unlike the comics. :eusa-think:

i really like the idea of taking these already existing charachters and putting them in a murder setting when they used to be funny and now are a little dark.

i do think the riverdale show shouldve ended after season 2 cause now the story has gotten way too insane and out of hand.

and in my honest opinion, the original comics arent that funny and havent aged well. they dont make that much sense

Ugh... How can you compare the comic and the TV show? They are nothing alike. I'd choose Archie comics over the TV show, any day.

I am a big fan of the Archie comics because of Jughead's cool nature even when his friend is constantly stolen by two beauties.
Riverdale doesn't really look like it came from the Archie comics. There are things like cults, killings, etc and that's not cheerful like the Archie comics are.

For a show that's meant to be based off of the Archie Comics, Riverdale is simply too different. It replaces the funny, cool charm of the Archie Comics with drama and murder, not exactly in a good way. Especially with the huge number of episodes, Riverdale is just becoming more and more convoluted and less enjoyable.

If Riverdale had better writers, then yes. The first two seasons were promising but it very quickly devolved into just a collection of aesthetically pleasing shots haphazardly thrown together; and that is not enough for me.

Any comic will win in comparison to any TV show. I am biased towards comics. But Archiee comics, in my opinion, are more fun to read .

The only relationship between the show and the comics is that they have the same characters. Everything else in the show is unoriginal
