Love and Marriage: Cartoons About Imperfect People Managing Their Most Important Relationships written by Art Hartz is a thought-provoking book that shares insights about dating and marriage.

This book consists of two parts. The first part is about dating. In this part, the author mentions what men and women are looking for when dating. This part shows how contradicting men and women want when it comes to dating. The author points out some common problems that men and women face during dates and he also gives the solution to those common problems. The next part is about marriage. In this part, he tackles the life of married people. He also gives the problems that one might face when one becomes a married person and tips, advice, and solutions to those problems. In this part, readers are given the opportunity to check if they are ready for marriage.

This book shares valuable lessons. And what I liked the most here is despite the status of an adult person, this book can apply to them. Whether they are single, in a relationship, married, or even divorced, this book remains relatable to them. The lessons that are taught in this book have a wide range of audience. This is a great factor because that makes the book more relatable and reliable.

Another thing that I like about this book is how it is delivered to the readers. I like that the author uses cartoons to illustrate and deliver his message. The author also uses a conversational tone. Because of these factors, the readers will not just learn, but they will also enjoy reading it.

My favorite part of this book is the cover. The book cover acts like the summarization of the stages of a relationship. It features things with the connection to getting to know each other, dating, marriage, house, and baby. This factor shows the creativity of the author.

However, I just found some minor errors while reading the book. Other than this, I found no other reason to dislike this book. But these errors are not that often, so I believe that this book is well-edited.

Because of the reasons mentioned above, I rate this book five out of five stars. As I've mentioned earlier, this book has a wide range of audience. I recommend this book to readers who want to know more about dating. I also recommend it to readers who want to have more knowledge about marriage before they enter it.
