While you're waiting to read it, check out its YouTube video introduction. I feel like I'm recommending the video as much as the book :D, but it is masterfully made and will give you a good idea of the story.

Thank you for your visit and your comment, Sara!

Just watched it! Is her adoptive family normal humans?! Wow 😮 I got the wrong idea that they were all mermaids. Oops!

She's the only mermaid we see.🧜‍♀️The human/mermaid relationship is nicely addressed in some of the underlying themes, such as complete acceptance in an adoptive family and community activism.

Isn’t it incredible how much work goes into the creation and distribution of art? There are so many skilled people involved in the process! You’ve done an incredible job in capturing the essence of the book. I hope I get an opportunity to review it, as well. Great review!

I was in awe of all the people listed in the credits. A special thanks to the author for giving the reader a glimpse into what is involved in making this engaging story.

I hope you get an opportunity to review this book too. Thank you for your visit and your kind, thoughtful comment!

Your excitement for this book is quite contagious, Donna. I will check out the video and take it from there as this is not a genre I would normally read. Having said that, your judgement is usually spot on so in all probability I will get to read it. As usual, a great review!

The graphic novel genre, at least at OBC, has a wide range of offerings, so I check it out every now and then. This gem was a delight. There are many layers to this brief story, and I am still in awe of the artisan coordination involved. The video is a treat--I do hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for your kind comment, Fareed. I always enjoy our visits.

Your detailed and elaborate review is compelling me to take alook at this beautiful piece of work. I haven't read a graphic novel or one with multimedia use. So this is going to be a new and a beautiful experience for me it seems. Thank you so much for bringing out this exciting book.
