This is the first graphic novel I've read, and I'm not convinced they are for me. I found the conversation to be quite clunky in its efforts to be casual but also drive a storyline. The graphics were good, but I need to learn which speech bubble to read first when there are many in a picture.

The graphic novel genre serves as the ideal stage. Olmos's dark visuals give the impression of the truth buried under dirt. The combination of sharp lines and hard shadows reveals a fear within each of the character's eyes. Congrats on #BOTD!

Even with old friendship, there will be a handful of unsaid dots; we may know the person but never really see them. This conflict between knowing something and, at the same time, knowing nothing for sure eventually sets the mood. Congrats on #BOTD!
