This sounds like a good read. From working as a professor and getting PhD to deciding to be a stuntman must be one hell of a journey for Luke. The review was detailed and explained both pros and cons of the book beautifully.

I agree with you that closure is important in any romantic relationships because it allows the couple to leas their lives independent of their former ties. Thanks for the review.

Overall a nice review. Congrats on the BOTD award. This book is comical. Luke is a college student and a part-time worker. He is offered an opportunity to be a stuntman by Al. He does accept that opportunity. Will he succeed or not, we need to find out. Looking forward to reading it.

I have a feeling that Luke did the foolish thing by ditching his academic career. I'm confident he'll neither be here nor there in the end.

For sure, many Ph.D. scholars will resonate much with this book.

Interesting from the first page, "Gone Bodfishin" by David Done, is a book that will take you into Luke’s life as he decides in an instant to completely change his entire focus, goal and life. He was a student working on tax returns part-time when he meets Al who wants Luke to join him and be a stunt man as well as complete a movie set. But it is what happens along the way that makes for an extremely interesting story. Who shows up and the map as well as other characters in the story are surprising and interesting.
Thank you for the wonderful review!

That was a bold step Luke took. It would have been better if your review was paragraphed but it could be a system error. However, you are right. The failure of closure is frustrating. Thank you for the free copy of the book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Gone Bodfish is a comic book regarding a college student change the course of his life drastically for something that is intriguing. I would love to explore more of this as my light reading. Having said all this, this comic book only for mature readers given the profanities content.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on "Gone Bodfishin'." Your detailed description of the storyline and characters, especially Luke's journey from a part-time employee and college student to aspiring stuntman, piqued my interest. It's intriguing to see how Al's invitation and Luke's decision to pursue something more exciting set the stage for an adventurous tale.

Taking risks in life is inevitable. When Luke decides to drop out of college and decides to join AI in building a movie set is a big move that I am tempted to find out whether he succeeded.

Luke's shift in perspective from pursuing a traditional career as a history professor to opting for a more adventurous path as a stuntman adds a layer of excitement to the narrative, leaving readers curious about the motivations behind his decision and the potential conflicts he might encounter.

The dilemma of moving on to something new is always a challenge and sometimes it is what makes our success. Was happy for Luke as he moved on from school to join AI, most people will redicule this act but when he succeeded, it all became history. Wow what a great read, recommended for go getters BUT certainly not students. Qualify for a 4 star. Congratulations on making BOTD.

The plot delves into the complexities of setting up a movie set in a tiny village in the 1960s. It appears to explore the challenges of venturing outside one's comfort zone to pursue a dream.
