Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard, are sweeter

John Keats, Ode On A Grecian Urn And Other Poems

I have read this book and found a lot of helpful information. The Laws and the fables were thought provoking. Not to mention the humour-filled narration. This is more than just a self help book.

Your review beautifully encapsulates the essence of "Philosophy from the Mud." The interweaving of fiction and non-fiction by Erik Quisling to explore the Theory of Masterful Effortless is indeed a unique approach. Highlighting the five laws for living an abundant and carefree life, along with the focus on words, feelings, and actions, provides a comprehensive understanding of the book’s goals. Your thoughts on the book cover and its marketing strategy as a self-help book with fables as a bonus offer an interesting perspective on how it could reach a wider audience. Thanks for sharing your insights and recommendation!

Like you, I was a bit confused by the cover page and title of what this book was about; at first, I thought it might be a children's book. It does sound like the lessons are worth reading about and practising.

In the combination fiction, non-fiction, fable book, "Philosophy from the Mud" by Erik Quisling, the author focuses on the Effortless Theory. The goal of this book is for you to live a happy, abundant and fulfilled life. When you follow the theory you realize the universe is there to assist you in all you desire. This could be classified as a self help book. The reviewer did a great job on the review and now I want to read this book.

The title doesn't sound like a self-help book but the fables justify the name in a way. I would love to know the author's theory on why awful people seem to accomplish amazing things. Congratulations on BOTD!!

“Philosophy from the Mud” by Erik Quisling is a combination of fiction and non-fiction including interesting fables as he discusses the Theory of Masterful Effortless. There are five laws of Effortless Theory and readers that follow them will live a carefree life. This book is a self-help book that includes quotes from well-known people and the stories will help readers better comprehend the five laws of Effortless Theory. One of the major learnings is the value of positive thinking. If one thinks they are going to fail, they probably will. Readers can apply what they learn from this book to their everyday life. A well-written book and a great official review. What will cause the Universe to co-create what I truly want? The answer is in the book.
