Laura Moss White's short novel, 'Mrs. White's SUB SNIPS,' offers an intriguing read. The author uses colored illustrations to bring a set of short stories to life, narrating them with a satirical and humorous perspective that reflects the realities substitute instructors face. The comics depict several highlights and enjoyable moments from a substitute teacher's everyday life, including the demanding workload and being ridiculed by those higher up the ladder.

Caitlin Skaalrud, a gifted illustrator, collaborated with the author. Together, they demonstrate how substitute teachers must handle various scenarios, such as receiving calls the night before classes, managing a lengthy to-do list, and enduring inappropriate remarks and rejection from certain professors. This book humorously covers all aspects of this employment experience, without a doubt.

The book's emphasis on the psychological and professional costs of substitute teaching is one of its most notable features. It highlights their steadfast commitment and fortitude in the face of adversity, humanizing these instructors. Anyone who has ever entered a classroom will be moved by the stark truths revealed in this short book.

Everything in this book appealed to me. The illustrations were really well done, capturing the lighthearted tone of the book effectively. I appreciate how the author tackled such weighty subjects with humor. After reading the book, I'm confident that nobody will ever view a substitute teacher's work in the same manner again. It was only right to applaud each substitute for their hard work and perseverance. I commend the writer for her invaluable contribution to the educational process and her perseverance in overcoming these obstacles to maintain her position. I also applaud her for speaking up with boldness.

There was nothing I disliked in this book. The editing of this book was really professional and error-free. Therefore, I'll rate it 5 out of 5 stars. There are no sexual scenes or swearing in this book. Teachers, substitute teachers, and students should read this book, in my opinion. I hope this book significantly impacts substitute teachers' daily lives.
