As a queer person myself, I enjoy reading LGBTQ+ stories - and find that manga/graphic novels/comics tend to have a lot more than traditional print or even other media, like movies and TV. It's even better when the story isn't purely romance, and involves an interesting plot and developed characters.

I recently read "Love Bullet", a new manga that's found support from international fans to prevent cancellation. I also love "Our Dreams At Dusk", "The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich", and "I Cannot Reach You".

What are your favorites? :D

I love this topic, because as a queer girl myself I love a gay topic, I have so many good lgbtq recommendations like: 19 days (Old Xian); Here U Are (D. Jun); Practiced Liar (Medamayaki) (+18 kind of). I would really love some GL recommendations

One of my favorites is "Galaxy: The Prettiest Star" by Jadzia Axelrod. It's a young adult graphic novel where an alien princess, one of the few survivors of an intergalactic war, is forced to disguise her identity for her safety and live as a teenage boy on Earth. Her journey towards embracing her true self, simultaneously facing danger and acceptance, was a really interesting allegory for the transgender youth experience.
