I am not going on hiking expeditions on a regular basis, but I think this book could be a useful guide for both inexperienced hikers like me and more passionate ones who like conquering high-altitude peaks. The author's patience to explain every detail is commendable since it could actually prove vital to your survival. Thanks for your review!

The review and the sample made me guess that this non-fiction book is an extremely useful book for the hikers. Though the book includes chapters about preparations and arrangements to be made to hike Mount Whitney, it can very well help other hiking ventures too. The author has included his and others' experiences of hiking Mount Whitney.

Hiking Tall: Survival on Mount Whitney is more than an autobiography of an author that got missing on his 9th hike to Mount Whitney. It serves like a guide to how to prepare for hiking Mount Whitney and how to survive dangerous situations. Unfortunately I am not a fan of hiking so this book doesn't attract me at this moment. No doubt is a great tool for hikers. Will share. Congrats.

Official review: Hiking Tall:Survival On Mount Whitney
Great story and insightful content. Explains how even experienced well prepared hikers can find themselves lost and in a dangerous situation when conditions are suboptimal. Provides guidance on what to do to prevent such events and how to prepare and stay safe if something doesn't go as planned.

Well done to the author, firstly for literally climbing a mountain and then for sharing his experiences so that others don't make the same mistakes. Thank you for your review.

A book about the author's experience on Mount Whitney. I'd like to read it since it shows how to hike and how to survive extreme circumstances. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds interesting. An autobiographical account of how the author was lost on a hike to Mount Whitney. I like the survival story. Also I like all the pointers on what to do in a similar situation. It seems like a terrifying ordeal, so any help on what to do would be helpful. Thanks for your review.

This non-fiction autobiographical account of the author's misery when he went missing on Mount Whitney in 2017 sounds like a nice read, however, I'm not much into autobiographies neither do I love hiking. Otherwise those who love hiking and autobiography fans will really like this one.

From the review, I can tell that the author did a great job, putting this book together. I can't imagine getting lost, not to talk of getting lost on a mountain (Mount Whitney) that he has hiked on several times. I don't know anything about hiking so it is a good thing that the author explains all the terms and tools used. Congrats to the author for winning BOTD. It sure sounds like a great book.

Great review. I am glad you liked it. A biographical book on how an auto got missing while on a mount climbing adventure seems like an interesting story. I'll add this book to my list. Thank you for sharing.

Wow.. What a great review. I appreciate the fact that the author wrote about his own experience in hiking. Non fiction Autobiography is a genre I so much love because I get to experience the authors life being told by himself and no one else.

I am not a big fan of autobiographical books and after a trauma experience, I think that I do not like to read this book. Danke sehr.
