Wall Street crashing down in the 1930s was a big blow to Germany. The oppression of the loss in World War I resulted in Germany paying compensations to the other countries' damages. Due to this suppressing nature of high inflation and low unemployment the citizens of Germany became so angry which fuelled a reason for an uprise to a World War II. Meeting Adolf is a big deal and involving your life unexpectedly in the midst of all these is seriously a suicide mission. Thank you for pointing that out!

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

This book seems to be a perfect blend of different historical events in one big mash-up-- I love it! As a historical fiction nut, I can't wait to see how all these stories are interwoven together to produce a full-circle ending. I've already caught the excitement bug (albeit downright terrifying) Abby and friends must have experienced during their various life-threatening encounters. Thanks for this awesome review.

The author did a wonderful job of blending genres. Thank you.

Sounds like this is a very fun and enjoyable way to learn a bit more. I'll definitely put it on my list. Glad it's got some accuracy in there as well. That's important for a historical fiction.
Hope you enjoy the book. Thanks for your comment.

Sahar Majid wrote: 08 Sep 2018, 05:35 I've always liked historical fiction but I haven't really had the time to delve into it so this book will be another way to do that. The book really does sound quite captivating with different historical events and friends who have their own separate and intriguing individual lives but are a part of something bigger due to which their stories intertwine. At least that's what it sounds like to me. Your review really shows that you enjoyed it. Great work!
