I automatically downloaded the book after I've read this review. I always wanted to know how people cope up with their past experiences from bullying. Like how did they fight the hatred from their hearts just to free themselves from the pain. This is interesting and I would definitely read this book because of thia review.

This sounds like a really powerful, emotionally charged book. Unfortunately I always seem to have trouble reading books like these, because I just know I will be extremely affected and saddened by the character's background and pain. It sounds like an amazing book though, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This is such an emotional review! The book evidently shook the reviewer. A story of abuse tends to do just that to people who value justice. I can definitely relate to the comments she makes. Kudos on a great view of what seems to be an equally great book.

Mt me tell you I got interested by reading your review, being honest I was not hooked at the begging, but I decide to continue reading and I'm glad I did, because of your words, I can feel the passion, the love in this writing, I'm now definitely going to read it! Maybe I can use this fictional story for my values class for teenagers and preteens that I give in my kids school, I'm always on the hunt for a good touching reading. Thank you so much

Wow. This review!! The sample told me something good might be possible, but your review confirms it. The story seems super quirky and well-written: count me in 😉

What an interesting concept to see fiction reaching a sense of realism like this. I find that intriguing.

Sounds like this is one strange, yet engaging read. I like that the main character is a woman pushed to her breaking point, but she's still both unpredictable and real enough to make readers think she's an actual person you might read about in the news. Great review!

Bullying, abuse, and life changes. This seems like an emotionally intense book. And it's realistic. That's great!

I was bullied horribly my freshman year in high school - told every day by one boy that I should end my life. This reviewers description of Lydia's journey makes me think it might be wise to have tissues handy while I read this one!

The style of writing is great. I wonder what happened with the gun? If the reviewer is very much pleased with this read, which is evident in her words, I think I will give it a try. Thank you for your review!

A character confronting her past sounds like an interesting read. I might actually give this one a try. Though I don't really like that it has sexual innuendos and intimacy. At least they're not explicit. Great review.

What could have led Lydia to hold unto a horrible past in her young days for years until middle age?
"I Am Not Gog" by Matthew James Hunt, unfolds the fiction story of a deranged woman who did her thing to let go of her bitterness and the consequences she had to face in life for her action.
