This has the tinges of a fictional piece that I could think of so far; it could even be much closer to non-fiction's reality than what's supposed to be intended albeit in a more minute way. I also agree that debilitating or degrading stereotypes are not ideal. The better news is that this expectation-defying piece is now available through Kindle Unlimited as well as of this comment. A lot from this work turned out differently from my initial impressions, but I do hope you'd read and find it as worthwhile as I did. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and kind words.Lindsey Klaus wrote: ↑03 Apr 2019, 19:39 Thanks for this review! I've been looking for a good book including Greek/Roman mythology, but that has its own take on things. It sounds interesting with a unique premise. And it's definitely a plus when a book layers its characters and defies expectations. Realistic people don't belong in boxes. I'll check this out!

This piece reminded me of those pieces and of mythical tales although it is unique in its own right. The better news is that this expectation-defying piece is now available through Kindle Unlimited, too, as of this comment. A lot from this piece turned out differently from my initial impressions, but I do hope you'd read and find it as worthwhile as I did. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and kind words, kabayan. That's exactly why I was too glued and would have not minded the errors if I didn't need to. There were ample, necessary lulls in between phases to create a rhythmic variation but not too much to allow the reader to break free and travel to dreamland. As I mentioned earlier, the better news is that this expectation-defying piece is now available through Kindle Unlimited, too, as of this comment. I am intrigued, how the author manages to bring the main character later in the narration, but still maintain the pace of the book. Thanks for the great review!Just when I thought I already knew the answers, a subsequent chapter would then lead me to discover that I didn't get everything exactly right. I had to find another piece of the puzzle thereafter.

Hahaha... I guess it's an exaggerated figurative language for the impossibility of him getting frightened about anything at all. I'm also inclined to think he is more concerned about nature's wrath as a consequence of human wantonness; although I'm yet to confirm my assumption, what I'm more definite about is that I'd rather have my kids and our future generations free from such bleaker possibilities.Kelyn wrote: ↑04 Apr 2019, 14:34 I'm not exactly sure that fearing a penguin revolt says good things about the author's sanity (LOL) but I do love fantasy novels. Lord of the Rings and similar books are favorites. I'm not sure I could really get into this one. I do like myths and mythology, so it's possible. I may just give it a look. Thanks for the review, I would have missed this one without it!

I'm a Rowling fan, too. Despite the typos, Titanlord is certainly a page-turning, captivating read. Errors could be easily sorted, and a book could have a revised edition thereafter. However, a good story needs to be one from the very start. I've had more than a few surprises from this piece, but I hope you'd read and find it as worthwhile as I did. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and kind words.
