The Christian perspective is one of the author's main goals, but she does it in a very gentle way. The wing walking main character is amazing. I hope you will give it a try. Thanks for commenting!unamilagra wrote: ↑11 Jul 2019, 12:48 I'm not sure the Christian perspective is for me, but this sounds like a fascinating historical fiction novel. I don't know anything about wing walkers. Great review!

This was so refreshing! The main characters developed a deeper relationship and looked for personality qualities and not just a physical attraction. It is an enjoyable read. Hope you have an opportunity to enjoy it,too! Thanks so much for stopping by. I enjoyed your visit!Bluebird03 wrote: ↑11 Jul 2019, 20:56 I love that the author takes the time and effort to delve into the portrayal of the characters rather than rely on graphic sex scenes to sell the book. Very insightful, as usual, kdstrack. Thank you for another excellent review and recommendation!

I liked the way the author see-sawed between the romance and the suspense of the wing walking. It is an interesting and enjoyable read. Thanks for commenting!

I agree. Doing it vicariously is much better than trying this fear in real life! Thanks for stopping by!Miriam Molina wrote: ↑12 Jul 2019, 20:15 I'm glad that Christian romance is flourishing as a genre. Wing walking would be a real high. I'd like to do it with Gloria, though I'll never dare this in real life.

I thought the author did a wonderful job of creating Gloria's dilemma. Both options are believable and would present a difficult choice. I enjoyed this author and have been looking for more of her books. Thanks so much for commenting!

It is an amazing story! I hope you will have a chance to read this book. Thanks for your comments!Kelyn wrote: ↑13 Jul 2019, 23:24 I'm not sure if I've ever heard of a female wing walker. In that time it would've been difficult to be accepted in that field as a woman. That was an accomplishment in and of itself! I hope she chooses the path that will lead to her happiness. Thanks for the interesting review!

I really liked the historical notes the author included in the book, including the famous people of the era and the products that were just being introduced to society! I hope you will have an opportunity to read this refreshing and entertaining story. Thanks for commenting!allbooked+ wrote: ↑15 Jul 2019, 09:37 I think this sounds like a book I will enjoy! I hope the art of subtle romance is making a come back. Historical fiction is my favorite genre and this is an era that I have read little about!
