Thanks for your review! It's a shame that Kimberley's experiences weren't documented more; her experience as a biracial American interested me. I'm curious to see what "new race" Hung Suk and Kublai Khan are advocating for. I agree with the author's stance that religion and race wars are used to propagate hate by the elites.

This story follows multiple characters and groups of different races as they fight for their place in American society. Nice review!

"Mixed Blessings" by J.M. Muse revolves around mixed race, race identity and racism. It seems like a good book, but I am not in the mood for racism stories right now. I think I will pass on this one for now. Thanks!

The way that religion is used sounds like an interesting angle. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review, but I'm just not interested in a book about "race, riots, religion, and relationships", as I don't enjoy racism, in particular, as a theme in books that I read for entertainment.

I would first like to commend you for your detailed and thorough review. Based on your summary of the book, it seems that this is the type of story where one can gain a new perspective and insight regarding the issue of racism. I plan to give this book a read someday. Thank you for the wonderful review. :D

I wonder how Kublai Khan and Hung Suk were able to withstand the pressure from Pastor Dalton and his followers.
Great review!

While I would love to read this book and broaden my views on the whole racism issues, some aspects of it don’t sit well with me. So, even though I’m intrigued by the review, I know I can’t go for this book.

A very amazing review. I enjoyed reading it so thank you. :tiphat:

I found the cover very beautiful and unusual. Two churches fight each other over race issues, that's so American. I think there is a lot to learn from this book.

This isn’t the book for me. While I understand that racism exists and it is a terrible issue, it seems not to get resolved and that frustrates me. That doesn’t bring me joy in my reading about it over and over again. It’s a very sad state of affairs when people are judged by their skin color. Great job on this, but with the topic being what it is, I am letting this one go.

Racial discrimination and politics are topics that never gets outdated. It was prevalent in the society ages ago and it is still very relevant. This book with these topics about religion, discrimination, and politics sounds intriguing. Great review.
