The cover might not have appealed to me but your review is really good. You highlighted the main points I liked in the book e.g. well-written characters and world building. I have read Schneider’s work before and I’m glad he was able to pull off a sci-fi genre this time. Thanks for your review!

You did a very insightful review; but this is not one if those books that I would enjoy reading, so I will pass it. Nonetheless, thank you for the review.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I am not personally a fan of medieval fantasy, but I do think it is interesting that the author mixes in a little bit of science fiction also. I might just give this book a go.

I like that the book has humor and it has elements of both medieval and science fiction. The author is quite creative to come up with a balance of the two time periods. Thanks for the review.

It's hard for me to turn down a classic medieval fantasy story. Add in mysterious wormholes and you definitely have my attention. It makes me wonder what exactly one would encounter on the other end of these wormholes--the possibilities are endless. I don't have time for it right now, but I'll keep it on my list. Thank you for the helpful review.

A well-written, intriguing sci-fi/fantasy book with an unexpected ending, engaging writing style, and well-developed characters. Plus, it is well edited. It is definitely a must-read for fans of the genre! Unfortunately, I don't read fantasy books, but I am glad you enjoyed it so much. Thank you for the awesome review!
