Ending of this book( possible spoilers)
I liked the ending. I think all the loose ends were tied pretty well. I also liked how the true hero of the story is an anonymous brave person who works in shadows and for the welfare of our countries and planet. That was the real part of this book, not just fiction, in my opinion. How many people are working every day to make this place safer? And they don't do it for glory or fame or money! I feel like this book should be a dedication to all the whistleblowers out there. I find the ending of the book very positive and satisfying.

I feel it, too. Abrupt ending! Our mind usually wanted more the romantic bond between the couple as the novel was denoted to them. I thought it might be in the ending, again as I said in the other topic, their romance was sugarcoated with the word 'honeymoon.'

You described it exactly! I was more invested in the Sharon/Steve romance than Kelly and Tom at the end. They seemed forced. It seemed like the author kind of got in their groove from the middle of the book on, with the beginning characters floundering a bit.

You explained it perfectly. I think I just gave up early on the "romantic" aspect of this book so when nothing happened, in the end, I wasn't disappointed.

Liked the ending, too. But I wished it didn't feel so abrupt.

I agree with you, everything connected well at the end.

Exactly! I feel this way too. I personally enjoyed Steve and Sharon's relationship better because I felt like there was a real connection between them.

I agree, the ending was pretty well written, but I wish the author had of spent more time getting readers ready for the sudden ending.Ruba Abu Ali wrote: ↑03 Dec 2019, 06:27Liked the ending, too. But I wished it didn't feel so abrupt.

And that is the fact that made me like this book so much. I like a celebration or even just acknowledgment everyday heroes. of Also for being a teacher you are right you don't get enough credit if any at all...spencermack wrote: ↑03 Dec 2019, 20:18 I'm a teacher. I'm not blowing my own horn but teachers try to make the world a better place every day. There is no credit but there is a sense of a job well done and saved even without the credit, like teaching. Excellent book!
