There are a few Bible verses, but they are incorporated into the text without providing the biblical reference to be able to look them up. I like to know where the references come from and thought other readers might find that helpful, too. Thanks for commenting!Bianka Walter wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 06:16 I find it interesting that the author didn't include any Biblical verses. With a book of this nature, I agree, it would have only boosted the text.
Wonderful review!

You will enjoy this author's creativity as he retells this traditional story. I appreciate your comments. Thanks.MustaHarleen wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 04:52 We are used to the story of Jesus as narrated from the common perspective. I love the creativity of the story as told from Simon's perspective. I would love to read this book some day. Thanks for an awesome review.

That was one of the things that most impressed me about this book. The author does not alter any of the biblical facts. At the same time, the story takes on a new perspective when you see everything through the eyes of Simon. Hope you get a chance to read it! Thanks for commenting.Brendan Donaghy wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 12:55 Sounds like a new and interesting angle on a very familiar story. Great review!

It was unique! Thanks for reading.Nisha Ward wrote: ↑28 Dec 2019, 14:16 You know, I've seen a lot of Biblical fiction but never one from that particular point of view. It's an interesting take but not one I'm particularly interested in following. Thanks for the review, though.
