I wish there was a metamorphic one, like someone who could turn into other people or animals or something, I would love that one. But that would have to be one powerful person.
Yes, metamorphosis is absolutely cool too. Think about the days when you had to drink a foul-smelling potion to change your self. A real price to pay if you ask me.

Telekinesis? The ability to control stuff with my mind? Yeah, I'm going with Adam. The others have cool powers too, but Adam tips the scale for me.

I fancy the thought of metamorphosis. Been tolerating the thought of changing into various forms and given a fantasy chance, I don't think I'd be contented anytime soon.

Adam and Rye's powers for sure - teleportation and telekinesis. You can't beat that combination.

Teleportation sounds fabulous! You can go anywhere at any time, you will never be late, you never have to sit in traffic or worry about travel issues. Telekinesis is a close second. I always thought it would be cool to be able to control things with my mind. Very Jedi-esque.

I really liked Rye’s powers and if I could have powers, it would be hers combined with Duama’s.

A teeny part of me wants Val’s.

Rayasaurus wrote: 01 Feb 2020, 13:03 I agree with KDJ, passing along all of the information from previous generations seems like an incredibly useful power, and in a way it prevents its users from truly dying. It's a really interesting concept as well, and I really enjoyed that. Personally I would like to have Rye's power; I'd never have to worry about running late again, and I wouldn't have any more commute! It would be amazing.
Totally agree with you on that. Rye's power is a life saver

My favorite would be flying. People dreamed about it for centuries, leading to great inventions. But it is altogether different to be able fly by yourself)

Howlan wrote: 01 Feb 2020, 01:38 These kids in the book show some really interesting mutant abilities. Adam controls wind or telekinesis, Carly has pyrokinesis, Rye can teleport and Val can literally chop things up. I really envied Rye for her power and character. So which of these powers fascinate you the most??
I would like to have them all, or perhaps another one related to wisdom and logic and calculus. Isn't there such a mutant ability? Or not mutant, just ability that I can have? :D

Carly's and Dauma's powers were very cool. I like Dauma's ability to thoroughly read a person and Carly's complete control of fire. The merge was cool. Carly will be able to pass down all the knowledge from herself, her mother, and her ancestors, to her next generation. Adam's power of flight was up there, in my book, too. I imagined Carly and Adam using their skills together: a powerful fire, guided by the wind. The combination of these two would be cool!
