I can grant your wishes,

I take many forms,
but in my most common form you can hold me in your hand.

What am I?
The answer is: Money
YOU ARE CORRECT !!!! Your turn.

You can feel, hear and smell me. You can’t see or taste me.
If I go away I’ll leave you adrift; otherwise, I’ll either sail with you or destroy you.
What am I?
To read or not to read? That's not even a question!

I would say "The Wind" except that I'm not sure you can smell it, though you can smell the scents which are carried upon it..

The Wind! That's right. You have a point, about the smell, but you thought the very same reasoning as I did.

You mean I got it? WOW!!! I really didn't think I was right.

I can take you on a journey.
I can introduce you to people you have never met before.
The journey can be happy or sad, dangerous or funny.
Though you come willingly you do not know the destination.
Though you come willingly you may regret your decision,
but if I am successful you will be glad you came with me.

What am I?

It may sound a bit cliche but... is it a book?

Thanks @InStoree. Thanks @DATo

My turn again... let's see...

Smoking Pipe on the mouth,
Pint of ale on the hand,
Ink friends around
and a pen to rule them all.
Who am I?

First thought that comes to mind is J.R.R. Tolkien.

I can't believe it. I was actually right ??? A miracle *LOL*

OK .... here goes ....

Your ancestors killed to get me,
Now I am much easier to acquire.
You would not want to be seen without me,
But at the end of the day you hide me in the dark.
When I am old and no longer attractive you abandon me,
And bring a younger version of me into your life.

What am I?

@InStoree @DATo @Alyssa

Look at me, look through me, look you in me;
bewildered payed gold for me;
I'm close to you and I'll protect you;
If you hurt me, you might hurt you;
What am I?
To read or not to read? That's not even a question!
