I have just sampled the book. Wow!! Stop the press. This is definitely going to be the next blockbuster movie. It's an amazing book and very difficult to put. Thanks for a comprehensive review. You definitely outlined all the great elements about the book.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I enjoyed reading your review just as much as the sample pages. I like the genre and although I agree with you that the ages of the children seem slightly too young, it does open up the the story to follow their coming of age over several books.

The Harry Potter-Game of Thrones combination you mentioned makes me really want to read this book! The ages of the characters do seem to be a little inappropriate when it comes to violence and sexual content, but I'll try not to think about that too much while reading the book. Thanks for your review!

I love such books that you would like to just read and read nonstop. Thanks for the enthralling review. I have added the book to my want-read shelf.

This sounds like an interesting read. I can't help but notice the author's creativity in naming the characters, for example, Heat, Neutron, et cetera. Since I'm a fan of fantasy stories, I can't wait to read this! Thank you for this wonderful review!

Based on the review of the book this is not something that I would enjoy reading. I don't enjoy reading dark fantasy or horror. I can't really get into a story with content about violence, rape, murder, or torture. I like the fantasy aspects of the book but with otherwise pass on reading this book.

Seems like a roller coaster ride to me. I have been a great fan of Game Of Thrones and Harry Potter and I am hopeful that I am going to like this book. Thanks for an amazing review. :) :)

Ok, this book sounds amazing, a song of ice and fire, the Harry Potter series and the Dresden files are my three favourite fantasy series of all time. So when a book is described as a merger between the two, you can bet i definitely am going to read it.
Amazing review, definitely one for my bookshelf.

A fast-paced fantasy novel seems quite intriguing. Thank you for the review!

From the reviews, The brimstone chronicles is a book I'd love to read. It sounds like the ultimate adventure I'd want to embark on.

Thanks for the honest review. The book sounds intriguing, and I'm contented with the number of pages because I don't really like reading books with high number of pages.
