Sounds like an interesting historical fiction. But I need the full story, so I will first read the first two books. Congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

Fantastic review! I have yet to read the first two books but now I think I am going to pick them up.

Interesting review. At first I saw the title and thought "here comes another boring biography" but judging from this review, the life of Billy Battles sure sounds like it was an interesting one

The book sounds interesting enough. Think to understand what is happening would need to read the first two books in the series. Do you feel this book can stand alone?

The excitement and thrill in this review speaks volumes on it's effect on the reader. It is enough to convince one to set sail on the journey the three books take you. Indeed it sounds like a captivating adventure to embark on. Well done Yates.

One historical fiction book based on the letter written by a grand-grandfather it is appealing, but hat period of time of the USA history it at least sensible to me. Regrettably, I will renounce to read this book.

While this is the third book in the series, it seems easy to follow. I was walking the streets of Veracruz with Billy and Katharina. I am eager to find out what would come next.

The element of suspense linked with Billy Battle's early life and its unfolding at the end of the novel is quite fascinating.

The review tells me a great sense of how exciting and full Billy's life must have been.
I usually like to read a series in order but it seems that I could read this one as a stand alone. However I wish that we weren't told quite so much detail, possibly that Billy disappeared could have been left out of the review. There is such a thing as too much information. Otherwise a great review.

BOOK TITLE: the lost years of Billy battles.
AUTHOR: RONALD E. YATES.

The writ of this contents by Carol-Anne Trollip which was coined from the author's book; the lost years of Billy battles written by Mr. Ronald E. Yates is a true summary of the entire contents of the novel.

The author has actually done well as he demonstrated the adventure and misfortune of Billy's entire life.

Life is full of ups and downs, but the most important thing is the landmark one made in people's lives before one finally kicks the bucket. I rate him 3 stars of 4.

It sounds quite intriguing and exciting, but I would really like to read the first two books of the series. I enjoy historical fiction so I am sure I will learn much from this novel. Thanks for your review.
